How long does migrating from Pulley take?+
The import takes about ten minutes for a typical seed-stage company. Reviewing the reconciliation and attaching documents usually takes an hour or two. If you send us the files, we finish within 24 hours.
Which files do I export from Pulley?+
The cap table workbook (Dashboard, Download Cap Table, All Time) and the stakeholder list (Stakeholders, Actions, Download). For full history add the Raw Cap Table and Stakeholder Transaction reports from Company, Reports.
Will Pulley help me move to Capable?+
No. Pulley's shutdown FAQ says it is unable to assist a migration to a different provider in any capacity. Your own exports are enough, and Capable's importer is built around them.
Will my vesting schedules carry over?+
Yes. Capable reads schedule descriptions such as four years with a one-year cliff, monthly, rebuilds every tranche, and checks vested amounts against Pulley's export.
What about cancelled grants and terminated employees?+
They import with their cancellation and termination dates, so historical views and option pool numbers match Pulley.
How does reconciliation work?+
Capable compares the fully diluted shares it computed for each stakeholder with the figure on Pulley's Ownership tab and shows both numbers side by side, flagging any row that differs. You commit when they agree.

Is my existing 409A still valid?+
Yes. A 409A belongs to your company, not to Pulley. Record it in Capable with its original valuation date and report, and Capable tracks when it expires.
